Discover Lavui Vietnamese Restaurant

If you're in the mood for authentic Vietnamese cuisine, look no further than Lavui Vietnamese Restaurant located at 5321 Maple Ave, Dallas, TX 75235. This cozy spot has quickly become a local favorite for those seeking rich flavors and fresh ingredients. Whether you're a fan of pho, banh mi, or something more unique, Lavui serves up a satisfying experience for every palate.

From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The friendly staff is always ready to share their recommendations, and the restaurant’s ambiance strikes a perfect balance between modern and traditional elements. With its clean lines, subtle decor, and spacious seating, Lavui offers a comfortable environment for a casual lunch or an evening out with friends.

The menu at Lavui is a celebration of Vietnamese street food, with a mix of familiar favorites and lesser-known dishes that will excite anyone familiar with the cuisine. One of the standout dishes is their pho, which is a rich, aromatic soup that uses high-quality broth as its foundation. It’s clear that they take their time preparing the broth, allowing the flavors to develop over several hours. This attention to detail is what sets Lavui apart from other Vietnamese eateries in the area. The pho noodles are perfectly tender, and the meat options-whether it’s the beef, chicken, or a mix of both-are always cooked just right, providing that tender bite every pho lover craves.

If you're looking for something a bit more filling, their banh mi sandwiches are a must-try. These sandwiches feature a crispy baguette filled with a savory combination of meats, pickled vegetables, cilantro, and a spread of mayonnaise or pate. The balance of crunchy, savory, and tangy flavors in every bite makes Lavui’s banh mi one of the best in Dallas. They offer various filling options, from grilled pork to chicken, giving you a range of choices to suit your taste.

For those who prefer a more complete meal, the rice dishes at Lavui are a hit. One dish worth mentioning is their com tam, which is broken rice served with grilled pork, a fried egg, and pickled vegetables. It’s a great option for those who want something hearty and satisfying. The rice is fluffy, and the grilled pork is perfectly charred on the outside while tender on the inside.

What also sets Lavui apart is its commitment to fresh ingredients. You can taste the difference in each dish, from the vibrant herbs in the pho to the crisp vegetables in the banh mi. It's clear that they source high-quality produce, meats, and herbs to ensure their food is not only flavorful but also healthy. The focus on freshness extends to the drinks as well, with refreshing iced teas and homemade beverages that pair perfectly with the meals.

Another reason Lavui stands out is its customer service. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and they make sure every guest feels valued. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, you can expect prompt service and a friendly face. The restaurant also takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, which adds to the overall dining experience.

If you're planning to visit, it's always a good idea to check out reviews from other diners. Many patrons rave about the consistency of the food and the overall experience. One common theme in the reviews is the appreciation for Lavui’s ability to stay true to traditional flavors while offering a modern twist. Whether you’re a Vietnamese food enthusiast or new to the cuisine, Lavui offers an experience that satisfies every craving.

Lavui Vietnamese Restaurant also stands out for its convenient location. Situated in Dallas, TX, it’s an easily accessible destination for anyone in the area looking for a delicious and authentic Vietnamese meal. • Looking for something less common, I tried LaVui Vietnamese. Very pleased with the service. My waitress helped me find just what I was in thy mood for, Beef Flat Noodles, and it was delicious! The dish was not spicy at all, so the bottle of Sriracha on the table was helpful. They have Boba tea, but sad they don't offer a non-tea Boba drink. Overall great experience and recommend them for dine-in our takeout.

  • the Pho Dac Biet was very good and flavorful. It came with plenty of meat and very filling. Only giving it 4 stars because the spring rolls had wayyy too much lettuce and barely any noodles in them. I don’t recommend the spring rolls but the pho was very good. Service was good. ALSO, 10% tip is automatically added to your check!

  • Good food, more of a pick up and go type place but they do have some seating. Food tasted very well seasoned...

  • Small quaint restaurant with great food that comes out fast! Presentation of the sushi was impressive. The pho was delicious. I think it would have been 5 stars if they gave you more herbs and vegetables. I had to ask for cilantro. Overall, I would definitely come back.

  • Do not hesitate to dine in this authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The service is always exceptional. I have tried a wide array of menu items and have not been disappointed even once. Very consistent with the high quality of food. They prepare it to order. The flavors are authentic, and so are the staff. The atmosphere is a bit noisy since you are sitting next to their open kitchen. There is additional seating in an outer area that is quiet and still indoors. I try to eat here weekly. Amazing food!

  • Everything is very fresh! And they provide you with an abundance of food! I’m glad that they’re open later at Night, but more over I’m glad for the authentic foods and the fact that they serve sashimi and sushi, but I’m a sashimi person I can tell you that the scallops are positively U-10’s, They’re massive and they’re fresh! Soft and taste! You definitely want to take your time with Them! And I love the colorful beat spring strings! I ordered the spicy edamame’s and they’re very very good! I love the café bistro feel of the place because the grill is right there with you when you’re inside and they do have an outside patio, it’s enclosed so it’s comfortable even in the cooler weather like we’re having now but I’m inside and I like how noisy it is! It’s very friendly here! I’m definitely enjoying the vibes the food and the variety of food offered here! And the food is definitely in abundance as delicious! You wouldn’t believe how many other moms you get in an order and I love them being spicy, you know the Clay pot chicken has jalapeños, but they’re not overwhelming even though I like hot because you’ve can still taste the lemongrass through it it’s really delicious. I love the fact that my waitress suggested Vietnamese rather than the Thai noodle order real good to listen to her because the quail eggs are delicious and the sauce is delicious and the sauce with the rice taste really good together! I recommend this place to stop and have a good meal! When my wife and I would come over here, I would notice it when we come over to the Extra Space Storage but we never did stop and I’m surprised we didn’t cause I think Cathryn would loved it, although I did lose her pancreatic cancer about three months ago, so I miss my Restaurant partner, but I’m pretending that she’s here tonight enjoying the food as much as I am!!!
